Earn your UKCAA or EASA PPL in Florida – accommodation included!
Become a private pilot with our PPL training in Sanford, Orlando Florida, consisting of 45 hours in a single-engine aircraft and 5 hours Night Rating. Accommodation is included as part of your PPL training!
Upon successful completion of our PPL flight training, you can take to the skies in a private aircraft, with non-commercial passengers.
Cadets taking the modular route to earn their ATPL need to hold a Private Pilot Licence prior to starting their ATPL Theoretical Knowledge training.
To continue down the modular route with any training provider, you will need to have achieved 150 hours of flight time. That’s why we’re offering you the opportunity to combine your PPL and Hours Building training at a discounted rate!

PPL flight training – 50 hours:
- Up to 35 hours of dual flight instruction
- A minimum of 10 hours of supervised solo flying, including at least five hours of solo cross country with at least one cross country flight of at least 270km that includes full stop landings at two aerodromes different from the departure aerodrome
- 5 hours Night Rating (one hour is completed solo)

PPL flight training entry criteria
To be accepted on our PPL course you must meet the following PPL training requirements entry criteria:
Age and height
- 17+ to submit an application. 18+ to commence training
- Height between 5 ft. 2 in. (157 cm) and 6 ft. 3 in. (191 cm). Applicants outside of this may still apply but will need an ergonomic assessment
Language
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Non-native English speakers must achieve level 5.5 individual and overall in IELTS or equivalent ICAO level 4 prior to start of your PPL flight training
Visas
- If required, obtain / be able to obtain M-1 Student Visa for your PPL flight training in the U.S.A.
Medical
- Obtain / be able to obtain a UKCAA or EASA unrestricted Class 2 Medical depending on your chosen route. Read our guide to medical requirements
Selection
- Cut-e testing and competency interview
- Selection is mandatory and consists of technical and non-technical elements. The technical elements will test skills such as numeracy and aptitude, with the non-technical element in the form of a competency interview
