How the Cadet XDirect™ Program works

Step 1 – NOW – Enroll at British

Enroll in the Professional Pilot Program (PPP) or Accelerated Airline Pilot Track (AAPT). Both programs include accredited curriculum and airline-oriented training that takes you to Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) in as little as 12 months.

Step 2 – Build Your Experience as a CFI

All student pilots completing PPP or AAPT programs are guaranteed a pathway to becoming a CFI with British, so you can earn money while building flight hours.

Step 3 – Apply for the Cadet XDirect™ Program

At 1,000 hours of total time, British CFIs are eligible to apply for the Cadet XDirect™ Program. After the application and interview process, if selected, you will be given a conditional job offer to join GlobalX as a First Officer once you attain 1,500 hours. 

Step 4 – Assigned a Mentor

While working on your last 500 hours of flight time, you’re assigned a current GlobalX pilot as a mentor. The mentor will help guide and prepare you for the transition from British CFI to GlobalX pilot. This provides valuable networking and additional training opportunities right from the start of your pilot career!
