Upon completion of the Envoy pilot training program and working for the company as First Officer for 5 years you could then progress to flying for a major airline.

 

Envoy Cadet Program

Enrolling in our Professional Pilot Program or Accelerated Airline Pilot Track will provide you with the opportunity to apply to become an Envoy Cadet. 

Upon becoming a Certified Flight Instructor and Envoy Cadet Instructor, you will be eligible to begin receiving Envoy Employee Benefits that include travel privileges, health, dental and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement, American Airlines Group profit sharing and paid vacation and sick time accrual.

Additionally you will receive financial assistance in the form of up to $5,000 in tuition assistance and a bonus of $10,000 once you complete Envoy First Officer training.

The Envoy Cadet Program helps the most promising flight school student pilots make a smooth transition from the classroom to the regional cockpit by placing them as paid instructor in one of Envoy’s affiliate programs.

How the Envoy pilot training program works

Step 1 – Enroll at British

The first step in your journey to becoming an airline pilot is to enroll in our Professional Pilot Program or Accelerated Airline Pilot Track. Both of these programs include accredited curriculum and airline oriented training that can take you from no experience to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor in as little as 15 months!

Step 2 – Become an Envoy cadet

The next step is to apply to the Envoy Pilot training program. If accepted, you will be on your way to earning American Airlines benefits! Being accepted into Envoy’s Cadet Program means you will have a direct path to the flight deck!

Step 3 – Build your experience

Those that complete our PPP or AAPT are guaranteed an interview to flight instruct at British in Florida. Our Instructors fly an average of 100 hours per month and 96% of our cadets who stay at British to instruct are placed at an airline! At this point, you will also become an Envoy Cadet Instructor and whilst working for Envoy Air you will be able to collect the required 1,500 flight hours for your ATP as well as begin earning Envoy employee health and travel benefits, financial assistance and tuition reimbursement!

Step 4 – Become an Envoy airline pilot

After reaching the FAA mandated 1500 hours of flight time, you will be eligible to earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. Upon completion of your Envoy First Officer training, you will earn a bonus of $10,000 and officially be an airline pilot! After one year with Envoy, you will earn an additional bonus of $8,000! ​​The hourly rate for a first year First Officer at Envoy Air is $50.71, which is among the highest hourly rates in the sector.

Step 5 – Fly at American Airlines

A new hire at Envoy today is projected to upgrade to Captain in just over two years, with the fastest guaranteed flow to becoming an American Airlines pilot of all regional airlines! The major airlines await!
