The Air Wisconsin pilot training program is a stepping stone for cadets to gather experience as pilots whilst flying for Air Wisconsin; and a gateway to ultimately fly for United Airlines.
Enrolling in our Professional Pilot Program or Accelerated Airline Pilot Track will provide you with the opportunity to apply to become an Air Wisconsin Airman Trainee.
During your time in the Air Wisconsin Pilot training program, you will be working part-time for the airline and build your experience.

The first step in your journey to becoming an airline pilot is to enroll in our Professional Pilot Program or Accelerated Airline Pilot Track. Both of these programs include accredited curriculum and airline oriented training that can take you from no experience to becoming a Certified Flight Instructor in as little as 15 months!
The next step is to apply to the Air Wisconsin Airman Trainee Program. You become eligible after earning your Commercial Certificate and Instrument Rating. If accepted, you will have access to travel privileges, 401k with company match, mentorship opportunities, and more!
Those that complete our PPP or AAPT are guaranteed an interview to flight instruct at British in Florida. Our Instructors fly an average of 100 hours per month and 96% of our cadets who stay at British to instruct are placed at an airline!
After reaching the FAA mandated 1500 hours of flight time, you will be eligible to earn your Airline Transport Pilot Certificate. As an Air Wisconsin new hire First Officer, you will be eligible for up to $57,000 in sign-on and retention bonuses!
The United Airlines Career Path Program offers Air Wisconsin pilots direct access and guaranteed participation in the United Airlines hiring process!
By completing the Air Wisconsin pilot training program, you qualify to transfer to United Airlines after 2,000 flight hours and 24 months of flying for Air Wisconsin.
